Detention Report

The Detention Report (Reports ( ) > Assets > Detention) utilizes your trip data to view detention hours, or time spent loading or unloading at a location, for your trailer assets. The Detention Report is only visible if you have at least one AG-tracked trailer. The report is organized by location and provides detailed insights into trailer detention frequency and duration. You can use this report to investigate detention trends by location.

The Detention Report is divided into two sections:

• The Average Time Per Visit bar chart displays the distribution of assets in two-hour periods. Hover over each bar to see the total number of locations where trailers were in detention for that selected time period.

• The Locations table displays information about each location. To find a specific location, use the Search, or filter by Tags, Attributes, and Location Type.

Select an address in the Location column to view the detailed Location Report for that address. To save a location to your Addresses/Geofences, click Save Location.

The report highlights locations with the greatest average time per visit during the selected time period and provides the following detention data for each location:

Field	Description
Location	Displays the location address, or the location name if the location is saved in Settings > Addresses/Geofences.
Trailers	The number of trailer assets that visited the location.
Visits	The number of total visits for all trailers .
Average Time Per Visit	The average time all trailers spent at the location.

Address Location Report

The location report by address provides additional insight into asset activity at that specific location. The report comprises three sections: a Summary of visits at the location over the selected time period, precise location details (Latitude, Longitude), and details of each visit to the location. To further filter the results, you can use the time selector to adjust the time period for the report, and apply tags to filter by specific asset groups.

The location report for the address provides the following visit data for each asset:

Field	Description
Asset	Trailer name.
Arrival	Date and time the asset arrived at the location.
Departure	Date and time the asset left the location.
Total Time On Site	The total time the asset spent at the location.
First Door Open	Indicates the door is open, or if a sensor is not present, this field displays No sensor.
Cargo Empty	Indicates if the cargo is empty, or if a sensor is not present, this field displays No sensor.
