Integrate with Towbook

Real-time integration enables live tracking of tow trucks in Towbook using Samsara GPS data.

The integration includes the following features:

• Pull Samsara vehicle GPS into Towbook to track physical location of tow truck drivers

• Provide status updates and tow truck location data to your customer

• Geotag events like customer signatures for tow truck service

Requirements

• Towbook: None

• Samsara: Samsara API token with read scope

Deployment

Towbook built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. If there are any issues, please contact Towbook Support.

1. In your Samsara dashboard, navigate to Settings > Apps.

2. Search for and then select Towbook to install the app.

   Samsara generates an API token with the appropriate scopes.

3. Complete the setup in Towbook.

   1. Log in to Towbook and navigate to Settings.

   2. Follow the instructions beginning with step 7 in the Towbook documentation to set up the Samsara GPS Integration.
