Integrate with Project44

Shippers can provide real time visibility to your customer and improve your team’s efficiency for free with Project44’s integration to Samsara.

This integration includes the following features:

• Capability to meet Shipper and 3PL data sharing needs (i.e. tractor GPS positions from Samsara)

• View your own on-time and tracking performance in Project44’s Carrier Visibility Operations Center

• Remain in compliance with real-time visibility requests

Requirements

• Project44: None

• Samsara:

  • Samsara API token with read and write access

  • (Optional) If you want to limit access to a group of assets, it is recommended to assign Tags to those assets in the Samsara dashboard.

Deployment

Project44 built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. Contact Project44 Support with any issues or questions.

1. Log in to the Samsara dashboard.

2. (Optional) Tag any relevant assets with project44 Tracking if you want to limit access to only those assets.

3. Install the app integration.

   1. Select the Settings icon ( ) at the bottom of your Fleet menu and then click Apps.

   2. Search for and then select project44 to install the app.

   3. If you tagged your assets to limit access, change the access scope from Entire Organization to the tag name.

   4. Agree to the terms of the Samsara Data Import and Sharing Addendum.

   5. Click Generate Token and copy the API token.

4. Log in to to the Project44 Network Management Center for your region and navigate to ELD/GPS.

5. Search for Samsara as the provider and then enter the Samsara API token to authorize the Project44 integration.
