Integrate with Kamion

Samsara provides the ability to integrate with Kamion Software.

This integration provides the following features:

• View driver Hours of Service information collected from Samsara in Kamion.

• View the GPS position of tractors with Samsara Vehicle Gateways installed in Kamion.

• Transfer driver documents from Samsara into Kamion and process them depending on document type.

Requirements

• Kamion: Access to a Kamion account. Kamion Software is free for all companies with a fleet size of 50 vehicles. If your fleet size is larger than 50, contact Kamion directly for pricing details.

• Samsara: Samsara API token with read scope

Deployment

Kamion built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. Follow the steps below to get started. If there are any issues, please contact Kamion Support.

1. Create a Read Samsara API Token named Kamion Integration with read scopes for the specific categories required for the integration.

   If you aren't sure which scopes are required, check with your Kamion representative.

   For more information on creating an API token, see Get Started with the Samsara API.

2. In Kamion, navigate to the Settings page and select Samsara.

3. Enter the Samsara API Token and Save the configuration.
