[en] Samsara Driver ID tokens automatically sync with Samsara Vehicle Gateways (VGs). This enables automatic syncing of vehicle actions to the correct driver.

[en] If you need to troubleshoot your Samsara Driver ID Token, follow the relevant steps for the observed issue.

[en] Driver assignment does not populate on the dashboard	[en] Place the driver token directly on top of the VG. [en] Verify whether the assignment populates on Fleet > Overview. [en] Be sure the token is isolated and not close to any other tokens. The tokens connect via Bluetooth, so ensure that there are no other tokens in range. [en] It can take up to two minutes for the associated driver to appear on the Samsara dashboard. The name will show in Fleet > Overview when you select a vehicle.
