Safety Settings for Individual Vehicles

Safety settings are customizable per vehicle. Any individual vehicle settings take precedence over fleet-wide settings.

Customizable safety settings include:

• Harsh Event Sensitivity

• Forward Collision Warning [Beta]

• Distracted Driving Detection

• Tailgating Detection (Following Distance)

• Audio Recording

• Camera Height (see Dash Cam Calibration)

• In-Cab Voice Coaching for Policy Violations

• In-Cab Voice Coaching for Driver Speeding

• In-Cab Nudges (Alerts)

Edit the Safety Settings for an Individual Vehicle

To apply rules to or make an exception for one or more vehicles, you can edit the vehicle settings using the following workflow:

1. Select the Settings icon ( ) at the bottom of your Fleet menu to view dashboard settings.

2. From Fleet settings, select Safety.

3. From the top of Safety Settings, select Edit Individual Vehicles.

   

4. To edit the settings of an individual vehicle, select Edit. To edit one or more vehicles, select the vehicles you want to edit and click Edit Vehicles.

   

5. Edit the setting to apply to that vehicle.

6. Submit to confirm the settings.
