Integrate with Vertrax Welltrax

Enhance Welltrax’s bulk commodity transportation software and driver workflows with Samsara vehicle, driver, and trip data.

The integration includes the following features:

• Automatically sync drivers and trucks between Welltrax and Samsara to eliminate dual entry.

• Current duty status and hours of service (HOS) information updates in real-time within the Welltrax driver workflow so that drivers don’t need to switch between applications.

• Display real time HOS information on the Welltrax dispatch board to enable dispatchers to maximize driver productivity.

• Truck, Trailer and Truck odometer readings auto populate on login, pickup, drop off and logout forms to ensure data and mileage accuracy.

• Shipment log entries are automatically populated on driver logs when a driver departs pickup and drop off to avoid driver errors.

Requirements

• Welltrax: Welltrax server set up for the integration

• Samsara: Samsara API token with read scope

Deployment

Vertrax built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. If there are any issues, please contact Vertrax Support.

1. Create a Samsara API Token named Vertrax Integration with read scopes for the specific categories required for the integration. If you aren't sure which scopes are required, check with your Vertrax representative.

2. Send the token to your Vertrax representative and request the Samsara integration.

   Vertrax Support will configure the account.
