Integrate with Collective Data

Leverage vital data from Samsara for optimized asset and equipment management in Collective Data.

The integration includes the following features:

• Imports data for Assets (trucks and cars) and Equipment (earthmovers and generators) including GPS location, mileage, engine hour readings, and fuel usage

• Daily import of Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) allows users to create Maintenance Requests in CollectiveLayers

• Creates driver-to-asset assignments

Requirements

• Collective Data: None

• Samsara: Samsara API token with read scope

Deployment

Collective Data built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. If there are any issues, please contact Collective Data Support.

1. Create a Samsara API Token named Collective Data Integration with the following granular scopes:

   • Vehicles:

     • Read Vehicles

     • Read Vehicle Statistics

   • Driver Workflow: Read Documents

   • Assignments: Read Assignments

   • Maintenance:

     • Read DVIRs

     • Read Defects

2. Send the token to your Collective Data representative and request the Samsara integration.

   Collective Data Support will configure the account.
