Integrate with Fleetsoft

Fleetsoft utilizes real-time data from Samsara to help streamline your fleet process and lower your operational costs.

The integration includes the following features:

• Integrated odometer and engine hours readings to keep your maintenance reminders and scheduling process up to date

• Engine codes and dash lamp status alerts to help with repairs

• Reported problems from DVIRs directly into Fleetsoft work orders

Requirements

• Fleetsoft: The technical requirements for this integration are the same as the Fleetsoft minimum system requirements

• Samsara: An API Access Token from Samsara must be entered in the Fleetsoft software

Deployment

The integration is already installed in the Fleetsoft standalone program. Follow these instructions to enable the Samsara integration and it will begin automatically downloading the data within one hour:

1. Create a Samsara API Token named Fleetsoft Integration with read scopes for the specific categories required for the integration. If you aren't sure which scopes are required, check with your Fleetsoft representative.

   For more information on creating an API token, see Get Started with the Samsara API.

2. Open the Fleetsoft standalone program, navigate to File > Settings > GPS Interface, and enable the Samsara integration option.

3. Enter your Samsara API Token and start downloading your integrated vehicle list.
