Integrate with Fleetio

Sync Samsara data with Fleetio to automate fleet maintenance tasks and keep vehicles and equipment running smoothly.

This integration includes the following features:

• Automatically sync GPS for vehicles and trailers

• Monitor vehicle odometer and diagnostic faults in Fleetio

• Automatically create DVIRs in Fleetio when submitted by drivers in the Samsara Driver App; defects updated in Samsara when resolved by Fleetio using a two-way DVIR workflow sync

Requirements

• Fleetio: Fleetio Pro or Advanced Plan required

• Samsara: API access with read and write permissions

Deployment

Fleetio built the integration and will assist with deployments as needed. Follow the guide on the Fleetio website for enablement: Fleetio Help Center. If you need any additional guidance to complete the enablement process, contact Fleetio Support.

1. In your Samsara dashboard, navigate to Settings > Apps.

2. Search for and then select Fleetio to install the app.

   Samsara generates an API token with the appropriate scopes.

3. Enter the Samsara API token in the Fleetio web interface.
