Set Up Users with Connected Forms

Access to Connected Forms is based on user licenses. Before an administrator or user can have access to Connected Forms, you must assign them an individual Forms license. If an administrator needs access to Connected Forms on the Samsara dashboard, or if a user needs to access a form on the Samsara Driver App, they will each need a Forms license.

If you need to set up a non-driver such as a supervisor or other operational professional with Connected Forms on the Samsara Driver App, you can also hide driving-related features on the app, and display only the Forms tile on their app home screen for a better user non-driver user experience. Assign Forms Licenses

To assign a Forms license to an admin or user, perform the following workflow:

1. Select the Settings icon ( ) at the bottom of your Fleet menu to view dashboard settings.

2. Select Billing > Manage Licenses.

   

3. Under the Unassigned tab, choose the license type you want to assign.

   

4. Assign the license to the admin or user.

   

5. You can view all assigned licenses in the Assigned tab.
